Yes, as with any form of lending, if you pay back your monthly instalments in full and on time, this should have a positive effect on your credit score. On the flip side, your credit score is adversely affected by payments that you miss.
As long as you pay your guarantor loan repayments every month on time and in full (or early if you wish), your credit score should show positively that you have fulfilled the agreement and this may help you to access other forms of credit such as high street lenders and credit cards, in the future.
Please note that your credit score is an amalgamation of all your financial commitments, so if you have paid your Guarantor loan, but not other debtors, your credit score may still be negatively affected overall.
Loans are subject to status and affordability. *Consolidating debts may increase the term and the total amount payable.
Before entering into any credit agreement please make sure you can afford the monthly repayments, we recommend that you seek independent advice if you are unsure of any of the terms of our agreement. There may be other taxes or costs, not paid through us or charged by us, that you have to pay in connection with the agreement.
